Voices
Voices Magazine was brought to life in 2015 by a group of students with a goal of meaningful expression of repressed ideas that demand attention. This magazine was created so individuals could voice opinions on prominent issues in society and reveal impactful personal narratives without the strict parameters of school-wide publications. Essentially, the magazine aims toward exhibiting short literary pieces that push beyond the boundaries of race, culture, and societal norms. This mini-issue features the new editors of Voices, with pieces ranging from investigative journalism to memoir. By publishing the true stories showcased in the magazine, we hope to shine a light a new truth by analyzing events seen as important to students and the people surrounding them.
